COMPENSATION
AKA: “How Do I Earn Money?”
At Phlox, we pride ourselves on empowering independent photographers to grow their success. By joining our team, you’ll have access to education, sales tools, and marketing support, enabling you to focus on booking your business, delivering images, and cashing out!
- Depending on the project, up to 80 percent of net sales for each job worked goes directly to the commissioned photographers. Payments are made monthly via PayPal.
- In cases where multiple photographers are involved (e.g., major tournaments or events requiring extensive coverage), the pool of the 80% payment will be divided among the photographers. (Note: The remaining 20% is allocated to covering marketing, customer service support, software licensing, and transaction fees.)
- Contributing/support photographers earn an average of $25-75 per hour, depending on experience, equipment, and the type of event.
- Primary photographers have the freedom to adjust pricing above or below our recommended standards. You are welcome to adjust pricing for your online pre-order and post-event sales to fit your market and personal income expectations.
