PRIOR TO THE SHOOT

  • Check your gear: ensure lenses are clean, batteries are charged, and memory cards have ample space. (Recommendation: Format cards before each use; Quick format only on Z9.)
  • Before formatting your card, make sure you have downloaded and saved images from your previous session.
  • If possible, always bring a backup camera, lenses, straps, batteries, and memory cards! Bring two of everything if you can.
  • Make sure you have your camera triggers and flashes if you need them (or if you will be working in the studio).
  • Remember to wear your Phlox apparel and bring your business cards.
